Located on a lagoon lot in the private Seadrift housing community of Stinson Beach, this vacation getaway garden was remodeled to meet the Client inspiration of a uniquely designed spa experience. Building on a 20-year relationship with this repeat Client, TLC worked with collaborators to incorporate a large therapy hot tub oriented for views down the lagoon and up to Mt. Tamalpais. The hot tub drops down to a lower deck creating a cozy nook to enjoy a firepit protected from the coastal winds. Boulder stairs connect the upper and lower garden levels and are surrounded by plantings that soften the adjacent hardscape.
